ORDER

In the G.O. first read above, Government have issued orders permitting the Director, GSWS, Vijayawada to provide an additional financial support to each Grama/Ward Volunteer @ of Rs200/- per month till March, 2023 in addition to the existing Honorarium of Rs.5000/- to enable them to subscribe to widely circulated newspaper(s).

2. In the G.O. second read above, Government have issued orders permitting the Director, GSWS, Vijayawada to provide an additional financial support to each Grama/Ward Secretariat functionary @ of Rs 200/- per month till March, 2023 as allowance to subscribe one of the widely circulated Telugu Newspaper.

3. In the G.O.s 3rd and 4th read above, Government continued the additional financial support to the Grama / Ward Volunteers &Grama / Ward Secretariat functionaries @ Rs.200/- per month per head as allowance for subscribing Newspaper (s) and also permitted the drawing and Disbursing Officers to draw Newspapers allowance along with the Honorarium to Volunteers and Salary to Functionaries from April, 2023 onwards until further orders.

4. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby withdraw the orders issued vide G.O.s 3rd and 4th read above, for providing additional financial support to the Grama / Ward Volunteers and Grama / Ward Secretariat Functionaries @ Rs.200/- per month per head as allowance for subscribing Newspaper with immediate effect.

5. The Director, GSWS, Vijayawada shall take necessary action accordingly.
