This ID will be lifelong and will help in accessing educational resources, achieving the objectives of "One Nation-One Student ID."

The Ministry of Education, Government of India will generate APAAR IDs based on the Aadhaar Number of each student, requiring separate consent from parents. The collected data will be kept confidential, with the UID number masked when sharing data with government users.
