O R D E R:

The Government have framed rules called “the Andhra Pradesh Medical Colleges (Admission into P.G. Medical Courses) Rules, 1997” for admission into P.G. Medical Courses in the State vide reference 1st read above and as amended subsequently from time to time vide references 2nd to 9th cited. Based on the recommendations of the Committee vide reference 11th read above, the Government have amended the Rules in respect of in-service reservation quota vide G.O.Ms.No.85, Health Medical & Family Welfare (C1) Department, dated.20.07.2024.

2. The Government therefore have reviewed the matter in consultation with the Director, Public Health & Family Welfare, A.P., and keeping in view of the representations of AP PHCs Doctors Association. Based on their request and considering the difficulties represented by them in drastic reduction of availability of clinical P.G seats to in-service doctors, as one time measure, the Government hereby decide to enhance percentage of in-service P.G Seats reservation by amending the in-service rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.85, Health Medical & Family Welfare(C1)Department,dated.20.07.2024.
